Snow doesn't stop play at Senior Women's Coaching Day
It was a fine winter's morning, the trees were draped in a fresh layer of snow, and the pitch at the National Hockey Centre, Cardiff was as frozen as a winter wonderland (minus the big wheel). Meanwhile in the main hall at the Welsh Institute of Sport, 28 keen hockey players were receiving a coaching master class from Senior Women Stars including Olympian Sarah Thomas. Players were taught how to V-Drag, beat an opponent in a closed space, sweep hit the ball and much more. A fun morning had by all who attended.
