WHU Activator awarded Young Volunteer of the Year
The WHU are delighted to announce that Alison Jones won the Carmarthenshire Young Volunteer of the Year award. The award was presented at the Carmarthenshire annual Sports Personality Awards evening, held at the Stradey Park Hotel, Llanelli.
Rae Ellis, Hockey Development Officer for Carmarthenshire said "I am really delighted that Alison has been recognised for all the hours she has put into hockey within Carmarthenshire... thoroughly deserved - so happy for her and I hope this achievement will inspire other volunteers. Alison was really surprised to receive the award, it was a fantastic evening".
Alison is a WHU Youth Activator and the WHU would like to congratulate Alison on a fantastic achievement.
