Women's Clubs gear up for the Cup Semis

This coming Sunday (14th Feb) sees the Women's Welsh Cup semi-finals being played. At 12:30 at WIS, Cardiff there is a repeat of last year's semi-final when Penarth take on National League side Swansea. With a number of ex-Penarth players in the Swansea squad it could well be a close encounter with Penarth no doubt determined to reverse last year's 5-1 defeat. However Swansea will also be anxious to maintain their recent run of form and so progress to the final yet again. In the other semi-final Howardian host UWIC at Treforest at 14:15. 'Howards' will want to continue their title winning ways having recently retained the Indoor Cup. However having already having lost to UWIC this season the two teams will also be facing each other in the league on 13th Feb so will that give an indication of which way the cup result will go? All four semi-finalists know each others game well so will it be a happy Valentine's Day or will there be any love lost in the matches!
