This
is an open course for all young players (Boys & Girls), under the age of
sixteen regardless of ability. It is organised by the WHU who are responsible for the
appointment of the coaching staff. Participants will be accommodated in hostels
belonging to the University of Wales, Aberystwyth (Llanbadarn Campus).
It
is a hard, but very enjoyable week, and in order to enjoy it to the full,
applicants should be fit and healthy. They should indicate any medical problems
that we should be aware of e.g. asthma, diabetes etc. and also let us know of
any medication they are taking whilst on the course. It is important, too, that
we should be aware of anything they are allergic to, such as penicillin.
The
cost of the course this year will remain at £150. This is inclusive of full
board residence, use of facilities, coaching and administrative costs. A group
photograph and Course polo shirt will be available at an additional charge. The course will cover technique,
tactics and positional play for all players, including goalkeepers.
Application Form
The
closing date for applications is March 31st 2003 and a maximum of
100 places has been reserved. The first applications received up to this
maximum will be the first to be considered. Any additional applicants will be
placed on a reserve list and will be contacted should anyone withdraw.
ALL
APPLICANTS MUST BE UNDER 16 YEARS OF AGE ON JANUARY 1ST 2003
APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE SENT TO THE
COURSE ORGANISER AT THE ABOVE ADDRESS AND SHOULD BE ACCOMPANIED BY:
·
A STAMPED ADDRESSED ENVELOPE (9 X 4”)

Successful
applicants will be notified of their acceptance as soon as possible and no
later than 30th April 2003

may be held liable for all, or part of the fee paid, and anyone giving less
than FOUR (4) WEEKS NOTICE OF CANCELLATION may be held liable for the whole
