Swansea miss out on Euro Winners

Swansea v
AD Lousada (POR) 0-4
Having drawn one and won one, Swansea faced
their final match against the hosts with the
winners being promoted. The game started well
very for Swansea although it was Lousada who
took an early advantage with a short corner
flick high into the roof of the net As the match
progressed Swansea found that without both Micky
Hannon and Clive Hardy their defence was
stretched with their cause not being helped by
them missing a few good chances. Unfortunately
the hosts took their opportunities and at the
final whistle Swansea had conceded a further
three goals to end up losing 0-4.
