EHL National
South
25th February 2006 v Barford Tigers 3-0 win
Whitchurch
maintained their 100% home record with a 3-0 win against
mid-table Barford Tigers in the EHL National South on 25th
February. Whitchurch created few chances in an uninspiring and
scoreless first half but they were a different team in the
second period. Joe Naughalty scored a fine individual goal after
42 minutes, Jon Collis crashed home a penalty corner four
minutes later and Tom Fisher added a third with two minutes
remaining. Whitchurch remain three points behind second-placed
Oxted but have opened up a six-point gap with fourth-placed
Indian Gymkhana. Oxted visit leaders Havant this weekend whilst
Whitchurch travel to the University of Birmingham.
