RAF CAREERS - 2008 WELSH WOMEN’S U-16 SCHOOLS CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS


Swansea University
Tuesday February 5th 2008

In what was an excellent day’s hockey with lots of goals and volumes of enthusiasm it was Bishopston, representing Afan Nedd Tawe, Blaengwawr (Glamorgan Valleys), John Beddoes (Powys) and Brynhyfryd (North East Wales) who qualified for the semi final matches. John Beddoes and Bishopston came out on top with the former going to record a 2-0 victory in the final to clinch the title in an exciting match.

Anne Ellis, WHU President, presented the trophy and paid tribute to all the players, staff, umpires and Swansea LHC who hosted the event for their 100% commitment.
