Sport Award for Pembrokeshire
Hockey Club

Haverfordwest Ladies HC were recently awarded the Pembrokeshire County Women’s Sporting Achievement of the Year Prize, beating off stiff competition from a nineteen year old golf star, and a Welsh International Cricket star and all round athlete.  Haverfordwest came out on top thanks to gaining promotion to the South Wales Premier League 1 and in recognition of their successful junior development work, over a long period. 

 

Carol Greenhalgh (far right above) is pictured collecting the Award at the Pembrokeshire Sports Award Ceremony, attended by 700 people and held at Folly Farm Theatre on November 16th.
