WHU announces powerful Under 21 International Coaching Teams

The WHU are delighted to announce the appointment of Merijn Van Willingen and Jo Nightingale as the new and powerful coaching team for the Women’s Under 21 squad. The programme leads towards the Europeans in Zagreb, 2008. Merijn as team leader is working with Clifton Ladies in the EHL Premier and Jo with Aldridge in EHL North.

They join the previously appointed Men’s Under 21 dynamic coaching duo of Brian Hibbert as lead, who worked with the Men’s senior squad in 2007 and is coaching Barnes, Hounslow and Ealing in the EHL Division 1, and Zak Jones, a current Welsh Senior International.

The first job for both teams will be to select players from the Under 21 Trials to be held at the Welsh Institute of Sport in Cardiff on 8th and 9th of December.
