WHU ROADSHOWS 2007

You are cordially invited to the Welsh Hockey Road Show being jointly sponsored by the WHU and the Regional Committees in your area.

• 3 September: 7pm at the Caernarfon Sports Centre
• 17 September: 7pm at WIS, Cardiff
• 24 September: 7pm at the Daniel Owen Centre, Mold
• 1 October: 7pm in Pembroke (venue to be announced)

The Road Shows are a follow up to the Strategic Plan circulated in May.  It is an opportunity for the WHU staff to let you know what has happened since then and where we are heading on a variety of issues all related to:

 ‘IMPROVING HOCKEY FROM THE GRASS ROOTS UP’

It is also your chance to discuss an influence how we progress key issues such as:

• player supply and development,
• club organisation and school links,
• wider playing opportunities and a performance culture.

Incentives for those who attend include Coaching Vouchers for Clubs and Schools and free WHU posters

An hour presentation by WHU staff with a question time will be followed by an opportunity to follow up with individual ‘desks’ or ‘clinics’ on strategy, coaching, club development, umpiring, competitions and events, membership information and issues as well as Regional Association and Regional Academy matters as they relate to you.
