Day 1 (Match 1)
Swansea Bay v Moscow
In their first game of the tournament Swansea Bay played Moscow who had 5 players having just returned from the Indoor World Cup last week in Vienna - Swansea started well - but Moscow turned on the style going into half-time leading 6:0 down but despite that Swansea had lots of good chances and it could have been a closer score. The second half saw Swansea play well but could not live with Moscow with a final score of 10:1 Swansea’s goal scorer was Clive Hardy with a good solo effort.

Day 1 (Match 2)
Swansea Bay v Mlodost
Swansea’s second game saw them play Mlodost of Croatia in a must win game - Swansea started well but it was very close game against a well drilled Croatian team. The young James Kyriakedes open the scoring following a great pass from Graham Charlesworth which had Swansea leading 1:0 at half time. The second half saw Mlodost pushing hard for a goal but fantastic goalkeeping by Chris Sylvester kept Swansea in the game. With 5 mins to go Croatia scored to bring it level. Final score 1:1.
