Reserve your place on the 2007 International Hockey
Experience, Paris!

Following the huge success of the International Hockey Experience to Paris in previous years, the Welsh Hockey Union is once again running the trip in conjunction with travel providers Sport Experiences. Details are as follows:

Date
Tuesday 10th – Saturday 14th April 2007
(during the school Easter holidays)

Venue
Paris (Staying at the ‘Novotel Cergy Pontoise’ Hotel, located on the outskirts of Paris)

Target Audience
Girls aged 12 – 16 years (school years 8-11)

The trip aims to provide young players with a fantastic opportunity to gain top quality hockeycoaching from our very own Youth Hockey Activators, whilst also experiencing the delights of the famous city of Paris.

Cost
£330.00 per person

This includes return coach travel, return channel crossing, four nights’ accommodation, continental breakfast and evening meals during your stay, admission to Disneyland Park, use of the sports facilities and equipment, two full days of hockey coaching, a t-shirt, sightseeing
excursion, travel insurance, and all Government taxes and surcharges.

Itinerary
Included in the itinerary are 2 full days of hockey coaching (including a hockey tournament), a visit to Disneyland Resort Paris, a sightseeing trip, and an opportunity to shop at
the ‘Val D’Europe’ shopping mall.

How to get involved
In order to reserve your place on the trip, simply complete the reply form and return it to the WHU office along with a deposit of £100.00 as soon as possible, and no later than Friday 12th January 2007. Your cheque should be made payable to ‘Welsh Hockey Union’, and you will be notified of your place shortly after the closing date. The remaining balance will be required by 1st February 2007.

INTERNATIONAL HOCKEY EXPERIENCE - REPORT
Paris, 19th-23rd April 2006

This year’s International Hockey Experience, once again held in Paris during the Easter holidays, was a very successful trip that was enjoyed by all involved.

54 girls attended, all aged 13-15 years, from 8 different Unitary Authorities over Wales, and the players were involved with 2 days of hockey coaching, a day in Disneyland, Paris, an evening sightseeing trip of the city, and a Seine River Cruise.
