Reserve your place on the 2008 International Hockey
Experience, Amsterdam!

Following the huge success of the International Hockey Experience to Paris in previous years, the Welsh Hockey Union is once again running a European trip in conjunction with travel providers Sport Experiences.  BUT this year’s is to Hockey Mad Holland, which is why it’s the most exciting trip to date.  Details are as follows:

Date
Tuesday 25th – Saturday 29th March 2008
(during the school Easter holidays)

Venue
Amsterdam - staying at the ‘Stayokay Zeeburg Hostel’, (located in a quiet suburb of Amsterdam around 15 minutes drive from the city centre).

Target Audience
Girls and boys aged 13 – 16 years (school years 8-11)

The trip aims to provide young players with a fantastic opportunity to gain top quality hockey coaching from and a World Class Hockey venue, whilst also experiencing the delights of the famous city of Amsterdam.

Cost
£395.00 per person

This includes return coach travel, return channel crossing, four nights’ accommodation, continental breakfast, packed lunch and evening meals during your stay, sightseeing canal cruise in central Amsterdam, use of the sports facilities and equipment, three full days of hockey coaching, a t-shirt, travel insurance, and all Government taxes and surcharges.

Itinerary
Included in the itinerary are 3 full days of hockey coaching, including a Coaching Masterclass with some of the Dutch Senior Men’s Team, a mini tournament involving games against local opposition, a sightseeing trip, and an opportunity to watch a Top Professional Team in action.

How to get involved
In order to reserve your place on the trip, simply complete the reply form and return it to the WHU office along with a deposit of £150.00 as soon as possible, and no later than Friday 25th January 2008. Your cheque should be made payable to ‘Welsh Hockey Union’, and you will be notified of your place shortly after the closing date. The remaining balance will be required by 15th February 2008.
