The WHU recognises that establishing more clubs or the expansion of existing clubs to meet local demand will strengthen the hockey base and improve competitive opportunities. There are a number of initiatives currently in place to help us achieve this, such as the Club Accreditation Scheme (WHAC) in particular, such as the Club Accreditation Scheme in particular, as well as plenty of Club Development Resources that can be obtained by downloading from the WHU website or by contacting the WHU directly.
The WHUs local Hockey Development Officers are arguably our best resource and there are currently 10 Hockey Development Officers (HDOs) providing support to clubs in Wales. To find out who your local HDO is please visit the HDO section listed below.
