RAF Careers Hockey Development Days

The RAF Careers have been the main sponsors of youth and schools hockey in Wales for several years and the WHU are very grateful for their support and the profile they bring to hockey. Their support not only helps fund the running of Wales's youth and schools competitions, but also enables the WHU to run 3 youth hockey development days, which are open to any young person aged 12-16, and are completely free of charge.

Development Days always take place during February half term at venues in North, mid and South Wales. They typically start at 10.00am and finish at 4.00pm. Most of the day is spent on the hockey pitch practising the latest skills and drills with WHU coaches, and playing small sided games across the pitch, and some of the day is spent with RAF Careers Officers, who deliver fun team building games and provide information about careers opportunities with the RAF.

Places are limited so please return both the reply form and medical consent form no later than Monday 21st January 2009.
